When is the application deadline?
April 1st for Fall semesters and October 1st for Spring semesters.

Which subjects am I able to study at DMJX?
We offer international semester programs in Journalism, Photo journalism, corporate communication, Visual communication and Media production.

When do I begin the visa application process
when I come from a Nordic country?
Students from Nordic countries do not need a residence permit.
...when I come from an other country in the EU?
Students from EU need a residence permit for a 5 months study period. You do not need to apply until after your arrival in Denmark. You can read more here:

...when I come from a country outside of the EU?
Students from non-EU countries need a student residence permit to stay in Denmark for a 5 months study program. After the offers of place are sent out after the application deadline (1 April and 1 October), the international coordinators at Campus Aarhus and Campus Copenhagen will send out more information about the ST1 application procedure and a guide to start the application process.

Does DMJX offer student housing for incoming students?
Campus Aarhus provides student dorm rooms in local student dorms around Aarhus via the local housing office (Kollegiekontoret) for a full 6 months semester. Even if most of our study programs are 5 months programs, you need to pay rent for a full 6 months semester if you wish to apply for a cheap student dorm room. More information will be provided for the admitted students after the offers of place have been sent out each semester
Campus Copenhagen provides contact to a student housing agency where you will be able to apply for student dorm rooms. More information will be provided for the admitted students after the offers of place have been sent out each semester.

Campus Aarhus programs:
Spring semesters: Late January – Mid June
Fall semesters: Mid August – Mid December
Campus Copenhagen programs:
Spring semesters: Late January – Mid June
Fall semesters: Late August – Mid December
